When having weight taken of your bat its important to understand that there is only so much you can take off the bat without the risk of taking away the performance of the bat entirely, For example if your bat was to weigh 3lb and you wanted to reduced it to 2lb 7oz then that would not be very advisable at all.
 However if you were unhappy with the pickup off the bat and wanted it to feel lighter then this is the service for you. On average 3 ounces is the maxium I would recommend.
