The Story so far...
Hi, my name is Mark Dring but my friends all call me Dringy!
People might know me as the guy at the Cricket Shop in Beckenham and more recently Chislehurst?
Well not anymore, I've finally decided to do what makes me really happy and that's spend more time in my own workshop instead.
For those who don't know me I'm not new to all this, I've got almost 20 years' experience in Cricket Bat repairs and also consider myself as a total Cricket enthusiast, whether its playing for my team The Earlswood Strollers CC at the weekends or following Kent CCC and just about everything else you can think of to do with cricket. So should your bat need some attention, a service, a repair, Knocking-in or just some TLC then look no further.

Things worth thinking about?

With the price of new cricket bats going up and up at a ridiculous rate, why fork out hundreds and hundreds of pounds on a new bat when all you need is to give your existing bat a good service?
Regularly having your bat serviced will save yourself a small fortune, plus remember the longer you have your bat the better it will play.

Fact - Cricket Bats will split and crack.
Fact - Not all damaged bats are ready for the bonfire, in fact 95% of all damage is repairable.
Fact - Cricket Bats play better the longer you have them.
Fact - Allowing your bat to become dry increases the chances of breakage.

The Dreaded Fibre Tape Fix (or not in this case) is finding a break or a split in your bat and wrapping it in loads of fibre tape hoping that will do the job, this is not a permanent repair, this should only be used to get you through to the end of the game only. Splits and breaks must be glued and clamped to keep them in tip top condition.
